Was passiert, wenn Sie aufhören
Dies ist der Teil des Bildes, der am häufigsten weggelassen wird. Absetzstudien zeigen konsequent einen erheblichen Gewichtsregain innerhalb eines Jahres nach dem Absetzen, und die kardiometabolischen Marker drifteten mit ihm zurück [2]. Das ist kein Versagen des Medikaments — es ist, wie die Behandlung einer chronischen Erkrankung mit einem Medikament aussieht, wenn das Medikament entfernt wird.
Die praktische Implikation ist, dass die Entscheidung zu beginnen eine Entscheidung über einen langen Zeitraum ist, einschließlich Kosten und Zugang über diesen Zeitraum, und nicht über ein Zielgewicht.
Muskelmasse
Schneller Gewichtsverlust aus irgendeinem Grund umfasst auch Muskelgewebe, und die Incretin-Studien sind da keine Ausnahme. Der Anteil, der als fettfreie Masse verloren geht, scheint im Großen und Ganzen ähnlich zu anderen Methoden des schnellen Gewichtsverlusts zu sein, aber der absolute Verlust ist größer, weil der Gesamverlust größer ist. Ausreichende Proteinzufuhr und Widerstandstraining sind die Interventionen, die evidenzbasiert sind, und beide liegen in Ihrer Kontrolle, während Sie das Medikament einnehmen.
